Domestic fire insurance is intended to cater for insurance requirement of owners and or renters/occupiers of private dwellings (Houses)
SECTION A
Covers – Buildings, fences, outbuildings and walls against fire and perils, impact, explosion, earthquake, riot and strike, etc
SECTION B
Covers – Contents of all description while in a building occupied continuously by the proposer against fire & perils and theft.
SECTION C
Covers- Portable and/or delicate valuables like jewelry, watches, spectacles etc against fire and perils, theft and accidental damage. Details of items to be covered e.g. Make, Model, and serial Numbers should be provided.
SECTION D
Covers- Domestic workers for accidental injuries or sickness while in the course of duty. Domestic workers would include indoor servants, outdoor servants (gardeners, stablemen), drivers, watchmen etc.
SECTION E
Covers- House Owner’s against personal liability to third parties in and out of the premises. Duty of care so as not to injure visitors is placed on the owner of the property/premises.
SECTION F
Covers- Renter’s against personal liability to third parties in and out of the premises. Duty of care so as not to visitors is placed on the occupier of the premises.
