Pioneer Assurance Company Limited, a trusted name in the insurance industry since 1930, has a rich legacy of being one of Kenya’s earliest insurance providers and the first to insure Africans. We are a fully indigenous company offering a range of life insurance products, including Group Life, Group Credit Life, Pensions, Annuities, Individual Life, and Funeral Expense Covers. Our head office is located at Pioneer House, Moi Avenue, Nairobi. As a market leader in Group Life Insurance, Pioneer Assurance is looking for dynamic and self-driven Business Development Executive to expand our Group Life and Pensions portfolio and accelerate business growth.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ability to identify and work with intermediaries. Develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth. Expand client base and identify new business opportunities. Deep understanding of group products and value propositions. Prepare business proposals and negotiate with stakeholders. Identify business strengths and match them with customer needs. Conduct research on emerging business opportunities and trends. Monitor industry developments locally and internationally. Report regularly on successes and areas for improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in: Marketing Economics or Finance Any other Business related degree
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills Proven experience in developing and executing business strategies Conflict resolution abilities Ability to work independently and in a team Experience in meeting and exceeding sales targets
