Mr. Ronoh is a distinguished leader with an exceptional career spanning over three decades in the insurance and financial sectors .He is recognized for his strategic vision, transformational leadership, and unwavering commitment to excellence. His expertise in navigating complex challenges, fostering innovation, and driving sustainable growth has positioned him as a catalyst for positive change within the industry.

Throughout his illustrious career, Mr. Ronoh has demonstrated a remarkable ability to execute innovative solutions, champion leadership development, and promote financial inclusion. His unwavering dedication to advancing the insurance sector and prioritizing social responsibility underscores his status as a forward-thinking industry leader.

Mr. Ronoh has held various influential leadership roles, including serving as Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Pioneer Group, Managing Director of CIC Life Assurance Limited and Pioneer Assurance Company Limited. He currently serves on the Boards of Pioneer Life Assurance, Pioneer General Insurance, Kapsorok High School, and as the Chairman of Chepsir High School. He is also a former Board Member of the Association of Kenya Insurers (AKI), where he served on the Life Insurance Council and General Insurance Council. Additionally, he a member of the Insurance Institute of Kenya (IIK) and the Institute of Directors Kenya (IoD).

Mr. Ronoh holds a Bachelor of Education (Science) degree from Kenyatta University, a Master of Science degree from the University of Nairobi, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Actuarial Science from the University of Nairobi. Further enhancing his leadership acumen, he is a graduate of the Advanced Management Program from Strathmore Business School, Lagos Business School, and IESE Business School in Spain.

Emmanuel Opakasi, the current Chief Executive Officer of Pioneer Assurance, brings a wealth of expertise and experience to his role. Prior to joining Pioneer Insurance in 2015, Opakasi worked for the Insurance Regulatory Authority and Alexander Forbes (now Zamara). He began his career at Pioneer Assurance as an Actuarial Manager, and was later promoted to Chief Operating Officer and Chief Actuary. Opakasi is a highly skilled actuary with extensive knowledge in Life Insurance, General Insurance, Retirement Benefits, Risk Management, and Finance and Investments. He holds a Master’s degree in Actuarial Management from Cass Business School (UK) and a Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science from JKUAT. With his impressive track record and dedication to the industry, Opakasi is committed to leading Pioneer Assurance to new heights.

An industry veteran, Milcah’s nearly 26 years career in the industry has earned her a great wealth of experience. She led teams in the underwriting and claims departments of ICEA Lion and CIC Insurance Company, and later served as Managing Director of CIC Insurance Uganda in charge of both General and Life Divisions. She has also previously held the position of General Manager Operations at UAP Old mutual. Milcah is a diligent and results-oriented leader with a proven track record in developing and overseeing the implementation of Company’s business strategy, and a great passion for customer service. Her academic and leadership qualifications match her experience, having successfully qualified for the Advanced Management Leadership Program (Strathmore Insurance) and Corporate Governance (Center for Corporate Governance in Kenya). She holds a Master of Business Administration Degree (KU) in Entrepreneurship with a Research paper on A SURVEY TO ESTABLISH ACCESSIBILITY OF INSURANCE SERVICES TO SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES IN NAIROBI CBD.
