What is offered

This covers money while in premises in a locked safe, in hands of authorized employees and while being moved from premises to bank and vice versa.

It also covers money in the hands of senior staff and damage to the safe

Excess Clause: 10% of Each and every loss Minimum Kshs. 10,000 Exclusions

Loss due to the use of counterfeit money
It does not cover theft by employees
Any damage or loss of money occurring as a result of use of any keys in opening any safe or strong room where the money is kept, unless these keys were obtained by force, violence, assault or threat.

Shortages due to error or omission or unexplained losses.
